Apollo Lightweight Attendant Propelled Wheelchair

Product Details

The Apollo Lightweight Attendant Propelled Wheelchair is the perfect blend of convenience and comfort, designed with the needs of the elderly and disabled in mind. Weighing a mere 9.2kg, and just 8kg with the footrests removed, it is the ultimate lightweight aluminium wheelchair. Its half folding backrest and simple frame folding mechanism make it easy to store in the back of most cars, ensuring that you can take it wherever you need to go.

Despite its lightweight nature, the Apollo is incredibly durable. The aluminium frame, reinforced with a double cross brace, provides superb strength and can support a maximum user weight of 136kg. This ensures that you can rely on the Apollo for both everyday use and more demanding situations.

Comfort is a priority with the Apollo. It features a true 18″ seat width, PU padded armrests, and a soft, breathable padded seat and backrest. These features work together to provide a comfortable experience, whether you’re using the wheelchair for short trips or longer journeys.

The Apollo is designed with both the user and the carer in mind. The push to lock attendant brakes allow the carer to easily control the wheelchair without the need to bend down. Flat Free Tyres and 6″ front castors eliminate the worry of punctures, providing peace of mind on any terrain.

Safety is also a key feature of the Apollo. It comes with a lap belt and removable anti-tip bars as standard, ensuring stability and security. The swing away, fully removable legrests with height adjustable fold-up footrests add to the wheelchair’s versatility and ease of use.
